Uluwatu Cliff Temple is one of the six major temples in Bali located in the southern part of Bali, Approximately 15 minutes from Padang – Padang Beach. The temple is built 250 feet above sea level. It has really nice view with sacred Balinese long tailed monkeys live around the temple. You also may enjoy evening dance performed “Kecak and Fire Dance” next to this temple (Ticket Price: IDR 30.000).
Kecak and Fire Dance is a dance derived from Ramayana epic story. This dance is performed around 150 performers wearing checked cloth around their waists. Briefly, the story is about a monkey named Hanuman that helps prince Rama to save princes Shita kidnapped by an evil named Rahwana. This dance usually performed daily in Ubud and Uluwatu Cliff Temple (Ticket Price: IDR 100.000).
